When I told the client to post the notice I meant for him to display the notice. I did not mean for him to mail the notice. In another field, this would be funny. In the legal field, this is not funny.

It's a bit odd, really. We refer to posting things, but generally not to a postal service. We've got Royal Mail, but we generally don't talk about mailing things.
I just really hope that whatever it was had nothing to do with cigarettes or erasers... the potential for embarrassment is just too great.
